About me
I am a mixed-media artist specializing in illustration and textural abstract art. Most of my art is inspired by the stunning beauty of my home state of Maine, and various themes from nature. For the past several years I have been creating hand-illustrated eco-maps. These maps of beloved lakes, ponds, coastline, and other areas can elicit nostalgia while also being displayed as fine art.
I am not one to write a pretentious artist's statement. I feel that art has its own voice, and is personal to each viewer.
I spend as much time as possible creating things in my home studio, where I am always carefully supervised by my two pups, Fen and Freddie. We love our little piece of Maine!
